Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / backpack is down There were some connectivity issues between Level 3 and Verio, two network providers who are “upstream” of our network that affected some customers for 10-15 minutes. These problems seem to have been resolved now, but we’re still monitoring the situation closely. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Can't e-mail pages to self?? Hi Arlene, I apologize for the inconvenience. I’ve investigated this issue and it looks like AOL has, rather arbitrarily, decided to block incoming email from servers that have a name that fits into a particular pattern. The Backpack email gateway is apparently included in this pattern. We’re making some changes to attempt to work around this unfortunate “feature” of AOL’s spam blocking apparatus. Please do let us know if things aren’t working correctly in 24 hours or so. -Mark |

Topic: Feature Requests / Custom URL We have considered this in the past, but the problem is that it’s not possible to make it work with SSL, which is a requirement for the majority of our users who would have the knowledge and desire to create CNAME records. |

Rogers is already on the list.
Can anyone else confirm this? If the Vodaphone UK service doesn’t work, I’d like to remove it to avoid confusion. Thanks. |

richallum, As far as we know, it is. We send email to <number>@orange.net for Orange. If that’s not correct, please let me know.
Jarkko, if you could provide me with the email address that TeliaSonera uses for it’s email to SMS gateway, I’d be happy to add them. Thanks. |

Topic: Feature Requests / SMS Support Edge Wireless has been added and is currently available. Cellular South will be available after the next time we deploy, likely sometime today. Feel free to update this thread with requests for more providers, we need the provider name and the email address that they accept SMS email at and we’ll try to get them added as time permits. |
