Topic: Native Basecamp client for iPhone You are welcome showngo! Maybe now when you know that there is a faster way to switch between projects you could give us more stars on iTunes? :) 2/5 really sounds like our app is crashing 2/5 times or something :) I’m very interested in other observations you may have about the Minivan, be sure we are ready to listen carefully. http://www.byteout.com/forum/minivan |

Topic: Native Basecamp client for iPhone Good to know about the downloading, that will save a lot of time. Thanks! I like the implementation with the project name that you click on every page to switch, I think if done right that would feel correct, and be very usable. Thanks again. |

Topic: Native Basecamp client for iPhone Yes, we see people are complaining about project switching and it will be dealt with. First thing for now is for you to know that when you switch project in Settings, and it asks you to download data you DON’T have to click Ok if you already downloaded data for that project. In that case switching is instant. We are already coding next version of app and regarding this problem we came up with this. On every main screen you have project name as title. What if we make that if you click that title, dialog pops up (ActionSheet in iPhone lingo :-) and give you a list of Projects to choose from? And global dashboard will be in the next version. |

Topic: Native Basecamp client for iPhone Great job on this app, been waiting a while for one. Would it be possible for you to have a global dashboard, or a way to switch between projects faster? I am always switching when I am on 3G and it does take some time. Thanks! |

Topic: Native Basecamp client for iPhone First, application formerly known as CampMobile is now known as Minivan :-) After gentle intervention from 37Signals … @ PeterRust: Yes you are right, it would be better if Sync could go somewhere else … but where? :-) On the right we must have Edit button and we must have Sync button on every screen. And you can put only 2 buttons in Navigation bar. Or put segmented button which would look even stranger. If someone comes up with better solution we will code it be sure. @ zignels37: Thanx a lot! :-) This is only first version it will be even better. Next version will be out in a matter of days. |

Topic: Native Basecamp client for iPhone Looks great, Misha—good job! One question on the UI – is it recommended/standard for iPhone apps to have the Sync button on the top left and the back arrow (when necessary) below it, as you have it? I’m not very familiar with iPhone apps, but I thought I’d seen some with the back arrow on the top left – but maybe that’s just because those apps don’t have a Sync feature? —Peter Rust |

Topic: Grant user access to all previous projects This hasn’t changed—it’s still there. The account owner can click the People tab on the Dashboard, edit a person in your company, and grant access to all projects in the sidebar. |
