Topic: Feature Requests / Status Updates Are Useless The status updates in basecamp are great. In Backpack, it’s impossible to tell what someone has done. Too much stuff, too unordered, too useless. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Tagging Messages I’d like to be able to tag messages so as to be able to organize them better. People in my office are complaining that the backpack is becoming too overwhelming. They are wanting to use a standard forum software package instead. I think tags would help bring it all together better – and also allow us to correlate pages to messages. |

Topic: Feature Requests / Activity summary is better in basecamp I like the activity summary in basecamp better b/c it allows me to very quickly scan everything that is new… rather than having to read through the icons at the top of the newsroom and then down below… it’s harder to tell what’s new. |

Topic: Writeboard / Writeboard updates don't show up in Newsroom Yes, that has been an annoyance for me too… when using basecamp. Whenever I update a writeboard, i have to send a message out to everyone telling them that there’s been an update (or hope that they see it on the overview page, which is not likely) |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Links in messages are too long In messages, the links extend past the right column and into the “Pages” listing. Is there anyway to either make a link using the “mylink”: http://... format, or to ensure that it doesn’t mess up the UI? Seems only to happen on Firefox Here is a screenshot: http://dvolver.com/test/over.jpg |

Topic: Writeboard / Writeboard updates don't show up in Newsroom Hi – is it by design (or user error) that my writeboard updates do not show up in the newsroom. (ie: in basecamp, when someone edits a writeboard, this activity is showed on the status page. i’m wondering why it’s not the same in backpack?) |

Topic: Troubleshooting and Bug Reports / Large Images Hi – i’m wondering how to post large size images on a page? Such as in the example pages – where instead of the small gallery thumbnail, there are actual full size images? thanks, |
