anyone have any ideas on a “best practices” using Writeboard for managing medical research papers and their linked references?

Can you clarify what you’re trying to do? Collect/search bibliographic references? (co)author a paper with references? or something else?

My first inclination is that a purpose-built bibliographic web app like connotea or citeulike, or the firefox plug-in zotero might be a better option.

I am trying to coauthor a paper that will use a bibliography. So you feel that using Backpack might not be the best idea? versus the connotea or citeulike?
