Text Format Bar in Lists?
|

I am guessing that this is a result of something I did, but I cannot figure out what! I was just adding content to a page in the way of a few notes and a list. I also decided to add a couple of items to an existing list on the page and when I clicked on “Add an Item” the box appeared to enter the list text and—Surprise! A text format Bar or Header was above the list! Like B I U, and so on, for Bold, Italics, Underline, etc. Highlighting text and clicking on one of those formatted the text accordingly. Great – except why wasn’t that there for the new list I had just created? I tried the “Ad an Item” for two other existing lists and the Format Bar was there also. Then after I started this post I went back to that tab to look at it again so I could list the format icons there and…. Now it is not there for any of the lists. What did I do? How did I lose it? For that matter, how did I get it in the first place??? I do have the Basecode extension for Firefox installed but I thought that only offered features within the Firefox context menu. Can anyone tell me what that Format Bar was, and how do I get it back? Thanks! Jim |
