The Obvious - Christmas Wishlist
|
|
Christmas always has people asking me for lists of things I want for Christmas. Over the years I tried various ways of sharing that. Word Documents (bloated, slow, problematic, version issues), HTML pages (slow to update, cumbersome) and just plain ‘ole e-mail. This year, since I subscribed to backpack, I decided to give it a try. All I have to say is: wow. SO MUCH EASIER. All I do is e-mail everyone a link to the public page and boom, I’m done. I can even take pictures on my phone and e-mail them (and list additions) to the page and have it updated for me. Fan-freakin’-tastic. |

I’ve been keeping an ongoing wishlist on Backpack for almost two years now. What’s been interesting is as new features get rolled out, I’ve redone the list every 6 to 12 months and it makes it easier to update and more useful for my family. http://cgriego.backpackit.com/pub/344378 |

That’s really a great way to use Backpack. 37signals thought so too. |

Wow, I didn’t realize I’d get on the product blog. :D It’s nice to be noticed once and a while. |
