I have just signed up for Backpack.

I have two questions :
1) I may need Highrise later : will I be able to transfer pages from one to the other ? Do they communicate ?
2) Lists of tasks : is there anyway to put a date of action in the tasks ? I have seen that there is the possibility to put reminders, but they are not linked to a page ?

1. Highrise doesn’t have pages. So nope.

2. You can put a due date in your tasks just by saying “Buy milk due tomorrow,” but the software doesn’t do anything special with it. You may want to look into Basecamp if you have a lot of time-sensitive tasks.

3. Do the 37S applications connect in some way or are they total independant ?

you can connect them buy using openID and the open bar

OpenID allows you to switch from one application to the other without logging in and out. That’s all there is.

There are no interactions between 37s applications.

However, I have seen I could import “people” from Basecamp to “Highrise”, which is nice.

Another idea on this is to create a Backpack page or writeboard for each of your contacts in Highrise, and the first note you put in their Highrise entry is a link to the page/writeboard. Since Backpack’s price levels are built off the number of pages, you may have to do it via writeboards, which are unlimited.
